There should be a new version of Mussorgsky available in Extras-devel.
Changes mainly in the album-art part of the program:
- Allowed to choose manually the album art for a specific album
- Moved “Automatic retrieval” of album art to a menu option
- Better information in the automatic download dialog
- Changed the first screen layout/buttons and added a window for the album art.
On the technical side, more things are asynchronous and i discovered how elegant is the code using the “yield” statement. As usual, feedback is welcome.
Every time I edit song title or Artist name none of the changes are saved. Is this program only for album art or am I not doing something right?
You are doing right. If the UI allows you to change the metadata, then mussorgsky should be able to edit the file.
Soonish, there will be a 0.4 release. Please try with that version (though i never had problems in the metadata edition part and haven’t change anything there…).
so just thought i would update my situation. it appears i can add missing data i just cant change existing information.
